Three days after being hospitalized in serious condition, the baby girl who drowned in her Ramot home on Friday night was niftar on Tuesday afternoon, 2 Adar.

The one-year-old girl from a chareidi family got into water that also contained cleaning agents that was left in the bathroom after Shabbos began. The child lost consciousness and was hospitalized, arriving in the hospital in extremely serious condition, with doctors explaining they were battling for her life.

United Hatzalah EMT Eliyahu Reichberg explained on motzei Shabbos explained they began CPR when they arrived and the girl was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in “serious/stable condition”.

United Hatzalah also used the case to once again warn parents to keep cleaners and other caustic agents out of the reach of children.
