Wednesday AM News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


ywnisrael.israel· Officials at Rambam Medical Center report there is no change in the condition of the soldiers wounded in the northern border bomb attack on Tuesday.

· The IDF deploys armored vehicles in the Har Dov area to fortify the presence along the border with Syria.

· IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested nine suspects during the night.

· IDF training exercise taking place today north of the Kinneret.

· An 18-year-old male was killed and two others injured when the vehicle they were traveling in smashed into a poll and a wall on Ben-Tzvi Blvd.in Netanya. Ichud Hatzalah reports resuscitation efforts on the young man were unsuccessful.

· Three PA residents were trying to damage the border fence in the S. Hebron Hills area not far from Hebron. Soldiers fired at them, critically injuring one who was pronounced dead in Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva.

· The Jerusalem Local Planning Committee approved 186 new housing units, 40 in Pisgat Ze’ev and 146 in Har Choma Gimmel.
