Tuesday AM News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


ywnisrael.israel· IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested 9 suspects during the night.

· Four people are being treated for light smoke inhalation from a fire that broke out in Bat Yam.

· A Syrian national with moderate injuries has been brought to Ziff Hospital in Tzfas.

· A 30-year-old male was arrested after posting on Facebook “I dreamed that I killed Arab babies”.

· Following a week of almost daily underworld assassinations, including one on Shabbos in the middle of Tel Aviv, the state comptroller is calling on agencies to get the situation under control, citing “an atmosphere of terrorism exists” and “people are scared to leave their homes”.

· HaGaon Rav Shlomo Dichovsky, who runs the Chief Rabbinate batei din, announced the situation is “catastrophic” due to a critical shortage of dayanim.

· An Eritrean asylum-seeker attacked a bus driver on a line traveling from Ashdod to Tel Aviv.
