The Gerrer Rebbetzin has had medical issues for a period of time, and an operation conducted this past summer failed to totally restore her health.

According to a Kikar Shabbos report, the decision has been made to have the Rebbetzin flown to the United States for treatment in a hospital there. The Rebbe Shlita is reportedly to accompany the Rebbetzin on the flight – as soon as the next two days.

The Rebbetzin has been admitted to Ichilov Hospital of late, and the Rebbe has relocated as well, to the home of the Shapira family in Tel Aviv, to be closer to the hospital.
