Magen David Adom on Monday, 15 Iyar, received a call at 10:39AM for a struck pedestrian in Tel Aviv. Paramedics and EMTs arrived to find a mother and infant in a carriage were struck by a vehicle on Sheiris Yisrael Street. The mom and infant were transported to Wolfson Hospital, B’chasdei Hashem with only light injuries.
The mother is reported to be 31 and her son, 4-months-old. Mom has injuries to her extremities and the child, scrapes and scratches B”H, nothing more serious. It is reported the carriage tipped over and the infant did hit the sidewalk, albeit lightly according to reports. Rolling out after the carriage fell, rather than falling from a height.
The 20-year-old female driver of the vehicle did not require medical attention.
