Convicted murderer, Omar al-Abed, the terrorist responsible for the slaughter of members of the Solomon family of N’vei Tzuf, was on Thursday, 1 Rosh Chodesh Adar, sentenced to four life sentences and instructed to make compensatory payment in the amount of NIS 8.1 million. One justice, whose opinion was in the minority, called for the death sentence.
Al-Abed was convicted of the murders of Yosef Solomon HY”D, 70, daughter Chaya, HY”D 46, and Elad HY”D, 36. Their 68-year-old grandmother, Yosef’s wife, was wounded in the attack, which took place in the family home during a shalom Zachor last year.
Despite appeals from surviving family members, the state will not be destroying the entire home of the terrorist’s family, but only the portion he lived in.

4 Life Sentences How does this work in a plea deal? Do 4 Israelis instead of 1 Israeli have to be traded for a prisoner swap? or is it 3 strikes, and he is out of realm of prisoner swaps for ever?
