Youths affiliated with the Ariel Youth Movement in Shomron are enlisting persons willing to assist in the establishment of a lookout in memory of Rabbi Raziel Shevach HY”D, who was murdered last week in a drive-by terrorist shooting attack near his home, Gilad Farm.
The lookout will include a seating area, pergola for shade and trees will be planted. One of the initiators of the lookout project, Kedumim Ariel leader Ithiel Levy, said: “After I heard about the terrible attack, I thought about how we can do something practical and tangible and we decided on the project at Gilad Farm. This will perpetrate the rav’s memory as well as assisting in building Gilad Farm.
The will build a seating area for visitors, explaining they feel compelled to act after the heinous murder of the rav, mohel, father of six.
Following the attack, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked announced Gilad Farm would be legalized in response the attack. Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has also instructed his staff to being move ahead to legalize Gilad Farm.
