MK Basel Ghattas, who faces criminal indictment for smuggling cellular telephones to imprisoned Arab terrorists, submitted his resignation from Knesset to Speaker Yuli Edelstein on Sunday, 21 Adar. The resignation goes into effect 48 hours from when Edelstein accepted it.
