The death of a Jewish jewelry store worker has been ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s officer said Tuesday, nearly two weeks after the man was found dead in the store’s bathroom.

Omid Gholian HY”D, 43, of Marine Park, Brooklyn, was found inside the bathroom of World of Gold N Diamond on the corner of Church and Duane streets on Feb. 15, police said. He had zip-ties around his neck, and blood was found in the restroom, they said.

Sources told YWN that the victim had not been heard from in two days and reached out to the police as well as Jewish community activists to try and locate him.

Police went to the cash-for-gold shop using a key that his brother.

The Niftar was a resident of Marine Park and Davened in one of the large Iranian Batei Midrashim in Flatbush.
