Police have arrested the suspect they say forced a Jewish man to strip off his clothing in a shocking gunpoint robbery. Sources tell YWN that the arrest was made on Motzei Shabbos, and that the victim ID’d the suspect on Sunday morning.
As YWN had reported, the the 24-year-old victim was trying to enter a home on Neilson Street in Far Rockaway around 6:30 pm (Friday night) when he was approached by a man armed with a gun.
The suspect pointed the gun at the victim’s head and demanded his clothes.
The victim, who was wearing a suit, can be seen on surveillance footage handing over his overcoat, jacket, shoes, and pants before the suspect flees in an unknown direction.
The victim then dashes indoors to safety and warmth.
Further details about the suspect as well as charges will be published when they become available to us.

B”H he is okay and I don’t believe that nypd cought the suspect
Y must u offer foolish opinions about if they caught him do u use such brilliant analysis when learning Gemara as well
Dear Friends, (especially #2)
Let’s try to speak with kindness, respect and love. There is so much hatred out there, within our own camp let’s try to get along.
So, let’s be careful how we speak (and write) and we might see Moshiach any day this week.
To number3 u r right it is important to speak nicely and it is equally important to not utter every piece of nonsense that comes to mind and leads to incredible machlokes
it could be, that when #1 said that they “dont believe” they caught him, it could be that he/she is in disbelief that the NYPD was able to catch him so fast, not that he/she is arguing with the article
so it may not be nonsense, just poor punctuation and/or word choice
I love what #2 got angry on my words if you really think it’s a different to me if they caught the suspect or not the main is that he is ok and he didn’t get heart but I like that you jumped up on my few words that I added
Good, glad they got him. Nice work and quick response
I’m glad he was caught!
The video, especially as it appears at another site, is very scary! Could you imagine being face to face with a barrel of a gun in your face and they steal your pants?!?!
Frightening! Very frightening, indeed!
And if you see the accompanying picture along with the article by Rabbi Hoffman; it is bone-chilling! Just put yourself in that guys matzav!
#4: Not that you’re words carry the importance of Tosafos, for example, that I absolutely MUST understand pshat, but I’m really curious as to how, in your thought process, #1’s comments might lead to machlokes…..
