YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of R’ Betzalel Steinberg Z”L, one of the senior members of Boro Park Hatzolah. He was 62-years-old.
R’ Betzalel – known in Hatzolah as “B-46” – was an active member for more than 30 years, and saved many lives.
He continued doing his Motzei Shabbos overnight shift despite going for treatments, and continued this until was no longer able to do so.
The Levaya will be held today (Monday) at 1:00PM at Shomrei Hadas Chapels in Boro Park, 14 Avenue and 38 Street.

B-46 was my first mentor at Hazolah and did lead by example.
I will truly miss him.
