Israel last week has suspended funding to the United Nations to the tune of $6 million in response to the Security Council passing Resolution 2334.
Israel contributes approximately $40 million annually to the UN and in response to the resolution declaring settlements illegal, with Israel explaining this is the sum that is allocated to four committees which address Palestinian issues.
“It is unreasonable for Israel to fund bodies that operate against us at the UN,” Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon said in a statement.
“We seek to stop the practice where the UN is used solely as a forum for unending attacks against Israel.”

$40m is a lot of money that could be spent on helping the citizens of the country rather than giving it to those who would fritter it away on the UN gravy train whilst voting that you don’t belong in your own country. Why has it taken so long to find out this realisation?!!!
They could ALOT better with $40m then the Anti Semitic UN which only spews hate against the Jewish State
I can’t imagine why they still provide any support at all. Why not cut the rest of the $40 Million?

What a waist of money , that could have helped thousands of poor people , sick people…..
Cut ALL funds,it is just a WASTE on money that could do some good here in Israel.
