It does appear that there was a connection in the two shootings that took place in Haifa earlier today, Tuesday, 5 Teves. YWN-ISRAEL reported  senior dayan Rabbi Yechiel [ben Rachel] Iluz was wounded in one attack and he was taken to Rambam Medical Center where he is now listed in moderate-to-serious condition.

His family calls on the tzibur to be mispallel on his behalf. The victim of the second shooting was R”L killed; reportedly a rabbinical pleader, (טוען רבני) one who represents persons before a beis din. The murdered victim is also being described as chareidi, G.C., who works with the Haifa Beis Din, leading police to connect the two shootings. The shooter is reported to be a woman but this is yet unconfirmed.
