A male in 50s, a resident of Efrat, was moderately wounded in a terrorist attack on Friday night. A terrorist infiltrated the community and stabbed the victim on King David Street. Residents were instructed to remain in their homes for a period of time following the attack as a manhunt was underway for the attacker. It appears he succeeded in fleeing the area.
The wounded man was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with stab wounds to his upper torso. B’chasdei Hashem, during Shabbos it was determined the man’s injuries were less serious that first suspected and he was released from the hospital on motzei Shabbos.
