Tzfat Chief Rabbi HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Eliyahu was interviewed by Noam Zeigler of Kol Berama Radio on Sunday morning 4 Kislev. Rav Eliyahu spoke a great deal about Amona and the need to replace the justices of the High Court of Justice with those who understand the need to rule in line with Torah Law.

Rav Eliyahu was asked to comment on the remarks made by Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef Shlita against Tzohar Rabbonim, in which Rav Yosef lashed out harshly against the rabbonim during his weekly motzei Shabbos shiur.

Rav Eliyahu explained he is quite familiar with Rav Yosef, “Who thinks several times before a word is released from his mouth and his words are chosen carefully and he is cognizant of everything he says”. Rav Eliyahu stated he agrees totally with Rav Yosef, lamenting Tzohar Rabbonim are responsible of a great deal of damage.

I am not afraid to speak and in this case agreeing with the carefully measured words released by the Rishon L’Tzion, will suffice.
