The CIA director says it would be an act of “folly” for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to scrap the nuclear deal with Iran.
John Brennan told the BBC in an interview broadcast Wednesday that it would be “disastrous” to end the deal designed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
Trump threatened during the campaign to scrap the deal. Brennan said doing so would strengthen hardliners in Iran and possibly spur other countries to pursue nuclear weaponry.
The CIA director also suggested Trump should be wary of promises made by Russia because of Russia’s past failure to deliver.
He said Russia and the Syrian regime are responsible for the horrendous humanitarian situation facing Syrian civilians.
Brennan plans to step down in January.

BH Brennan’s term as CIA director will soon end. This is a Muslim sympathizer, possibly Muslim himself, who refers to Jerusalem as al quds. The only folly is the “agreement” with Iran, which is not even worth the paper it’s written on.
Mottel, but wouldn’t going on the aggressive/defensive with Iran almost inevitably result in a WW2?
Making that deal originally, was like stepping into a pile of dog waste. Keeping it going now, after nonstop violations and provocations by Iran directed specifically against the US, would be like smiling and waiting for a pile on the second shoe.
According to WikiLeaks, the CIA was desperate to get Clinton in to office who’d continue being their puppet like Obama. B”H their plan fell through and now they’re trying hard to get Trump to do their bidding.

You may disagree with Brennan’s geopolitical views but he a loyal American and respected by most Republicans and intelligence experts. He is also highly regarded by senior members of EY’s intelligence establishment Your mindless comment about his being a “Muslim” shows the same level of stupidity of the Trumpkopfs who accused the President and a number of other senior officials (mostly of color) of being Muslims or members of various Muslim terrorist groups.

The Iran deal is a fact. It is done deal. Even Trump knows that the chance of him ripping it up is the exact same chance of him actually building a wall and imprisoning Hillary. Which is basically zero. His followers foolishly believe his promises. The best one can hope for is tougher enfocement policies.

Brennan forbids his employees to use the words “jihad and Islamic terrorism.”
He also strongly advised Hussein Obama to seal the deal with Iran. It’s moot now because thankfully he’s packing his bags and Koran and, out the door he flies.
