PHOTOS: United Hatzalah Comes To The Rescue Of Firefighters And Police

United Hatzalah’s Logistical Branch was busy during the night (Wednesday – Thursday) of 23 Cheshvan as the organization set up a giant heated tent in the gas station adjacent to N’vei Ilan to provide shelter and a comfortable resting place for rescue workers, including fire, police and EMS.

Hot drinks were on hand along with snacks during the night as temperatures dropped to 7C (44F) and for many firemen, it has been a continuation of a very long day shift.

United Hatzalah Chief of Operations David Krispil said “We are pleased to help firefighters and security forces who are risking their lives to protect residents of Israel. United Hatzalah volunteers are not only dedicated to life-saving measures, but we operate as a humanitarian organization as well, when needed…”
