The organizers of the Beersheva to’eva parade announced on Wednesday night the eve of 8 Tammuz to cancel the event which was to take place on Erev Shabbos. Their decision was in response to a High Court ruling, compelling them to march via an alternate route and not a main street in the city.
Beersheva Chief Rabbi HaGaon HaRav Yehuda Deri Shlita was working against the parade, using avenues in line with his hashkafa of ‘Darchei Noam’ to accomplish this.
He admits that he was seriously thinking of resigning in protest as the parade would have been an affront to the majority of residents in the city. The rav is thankful that the parade is no longer relevant for the time being.

You’re a disgusting “toevanik” website for calling other Jews by such a name. After 120, do you feel comfortable standing in front of Hashem and accounting for your tabloid-esque behavior?
Aha jusrangers so you’re saying people who walk the streets in a crowd to parade the fact that they do mishkav zachur shouldn’t be labeled a “toeiva parade” ?
