MK (Likud) Benny Begin feels the appointment of Avigdor Lieberman as the nation’s Defense Minister is a “bizarre move”.
Speaking with Channel 2 News, Dr. Begin stated “Such a move displays irresponsibility for the security establishment and the citizens of Israel. The Prime Minister apparently prefers gambling the difficulties of a narrow coalition with the major risks of such a coalition”.
Contrary to Begin’s opinion, it appears most of the Likud MKs and ministers are supportive of the move.
