A man managed to steal around $3,000 in cash from Mekor Judaica in Flatbush, Wednesday morning.
A spokesperson for Flatbush Shomrim tells YWN that the suspect entered the store located at 1973 Coney Island Avenue near Avenue P, at around 10:00AM.
The suspect went into an office in the store, and rummaged through the desk drawers looking for money.
Eventually, the man went through a jacket pocket hanging in the office, and found an envelope of cash.
He placed the money into his pocket and immediately walked out of the store.
Thankfully, the store has good security cameras, and the suspect is clearly seen on multiple cameras.
The NYPD’s 61 Precinct is investigating the robbery.
