The bris of Netzach Binyamin Ettinger took place while his father, Meir David, was absent. He remains in administrative detention since August. Despite all requests to permit Meir Ettinger to attend the bris of his first born, including a request from Chief Rabbi of Israel Dovid Lau Shlita, authorities would not permit him to attend.
The bris is over, the baby has a name and Meir continues to linger in prison, not charged with a crime and not entitled to any proper defense as the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) insists he poses a threat to the public’s safety.
Most believe the real reason he lingers is prison is quite simple – because he is a grandson of Rabbi Meir Kahane HY”D.

how can those govt officials live with themselves, knowing that they prevented a father from attending his own son’s bris (a bechor, no less!). even in a worst case scenario where he would be a danger to society (which is an absolute lie) they could have still allowed him to attend under heavy guard. i always thought that every jew (no matter how assimilated) still has a pintele yid in them. i guess i was wrong. there are exceptions, who happen to work for the israeli govt. Hashem yishmor!
I hope the boy grows up to be like his great grandfather HY”D.
May the Kahane-Ettinger mishpacha have much hatzlacha in their fight against the anti-Yahadus Israeli government who support Islam and toieva marriage but oppose Yiddish parents from attending their children’s bris.
The zionist state in its full glory. It has the means to protect its citizens against all manner of terrorist attacks, against conventional weapon incursions from the sea, the north, the south and the east, but it does not have sufficient power to keep an eye on one young man while he attends his son’s bris. Who are they trying to kid? This was simple chilloni zionist rishas.
