After months of ongoing Palestinian terror that included many stabbing attacks, the IDF is equipping soldiers with a device that will protect their necks from the knives of attackers.

The current equipment given to soldiers; helmets and flak jackets, leave one’s neck exposed. While the flak jackets have a collar, it still does not provide total protection but the new device developed by Central Command, IDF anti-terror unit and Logistics Corps will do just that. The item was developed in a number of weeks and it should be out in the field protecting soldiers serving in the Central Command within the coming two weeks.

The Central Command encompasses all of Yehuda and Shomron.
