According to information released to the media by Defense Ministry officials, a shipment of armor plating heading to Gaza was intercepted at the Kerem Shalom Crossing.
An Israeli truck carrying car parts appeared suspicious to inspectors at the crossing. An inspection of the truck revealed that the car parts were intended to cover sheets of armor plating.
The shipment is being investigated by customs, the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) and police.

Wow!
Hospitals and schools made out of armor plating. What a great idea.
Chicago Maven. It makes perfect sense. So many of the rockets fired at Israel go astray and land back in Gaza. Of course schools and hospitals there need to be armor plated. What other way to keep the patients and school kids safe could there possibly be?
