The tzaddikim I recognized in the pictures don’t take any money from the government, and they would gladly go to jail (as some of them have in the past) and the government would then face tens if not hundreds of thousands of demonstrators storming the jail, not something they want to have to cope with.
These guys do not take from the tzionim. Give them credit for being true to their cause. KF- when was the last time you were truly moser nefesh for something you believed in?

What people think is that they take money. These are not the groups that take money from the government. They set up kitchens and gmach’s and help each other. While I was in Israel several years ago I met many of these people who run free loans, food and anything they need and they all refuse help from the government. They want to be left alone to serve Hashem how they see fit. It is amazing to see how they help each other.

In a week when two Jews are killed by our Arab enemies, in week when Arabs slaughter hundreds of people in Paris, thus showing what they would do to all jews if they had a chance, in such a week do these people proclaim their total hypocrisy and treachery. Who removes the trash on the streets of Mea Shearim? Who provides the police service for the demonstrations there? Who provides the electricity and water?
