Two mortar shells landed in the Golan Heights on Thursday morning 23 Cheshvan, landing in an open area near the community of Alonei HaBashan. B’chasdei Hashem there was no loss of life or injuries.
After residents reported “load explosions” the media began reporting a possible rocket attack from Syria. The IDF Spokesman’s Office stated it was unaware of any cross-border incident.
Later in the morning the IDF Spokesman confirmed two mortar shells landed in an open area in northern Israel, apparently spillover from the ongoing civil war in Syria.
