Attorney Itamar Ben-Givir is calling on State Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to launch an investigation into recent terror attacks, questioning why the terrorists were only shot dead in 13 of 50 attacks.
In the video he prepared Ben-Givir shows a number of cases in which the situation was ‘life-threatening’ and thereby justifying shooting to kill, yet soldiers and police alike hesitated and failed to act as they should.
Ben-Givir explains that in a life-threatening situation, neutralizing a terrorist by wounding him is insufficient, stating the law and halacha demand killing the terrorist posing the threat.

Mr. Ben-Gvir is full of it, as usual. No one at the scenes has been harmed by any of the terrorists who were neutralized instead of being killed and in such situations the law requires that the terrorist not be killed. The policemen, soldiers and citizens are following the law – and that is what bothers Mr. Ben-Gvir, because he disagrees with the law. It is perfectly permissible to disagree with a law and to advocate changing it. It is another thing entirely to mislead.
