Over 1,500 police, IDF and security forces guarding Jerusalem are getting a special delivery barbecue-thank you from United Hatzalah and Israel’s Volunteer Police Highway Rescue Unit (Yachpatz).
Meir Rotberg fom Yachpatz had the idea to make a huge bbq for the men and women protecting Jerusalem but needed help to deliver the food of gratitude to all the guard posts scattered across the Holy City. That’s when he decided to call United Hatzalah’s Moshe Teitlbaum.
In less than 24 hours a staging area was set up on Jerusalem’s famous Ammunition Hill where hot sandwiches, cold drinks and snacks, prepared by tens of volunteers from the two organizations are being delivered by United Hatzalah ambucycles to make sure they are hot and fresh.
“The volunteers here are giving a hug to all the police and security that are protecting Jerusalem, especially now after a very difficult two weeks,” said Teitelbaum.

We really do shine. We really love each other like sister and brother.mlike sister and brother can push each other in their house, fight it out and still remain close. That’s how we are. When that sibling falls, watch how that fighting brother comes to help!!!!! And cries for her. We’re all siblings with differences. At the end of the day we love each other. I also believe that a lot more chilonim are maminim more than we think. There is a life goes on feeling in the air here in every area that the shoresh is emuna; even if one may not realize or admit it. Am Yisroel chai!!!!!!!!
