An IDF force operating near the Yehuda and Shomron Division Headquarters on motzei Simchas Torah detected a laser beam pointed at them from a home, responding with gunfire into the home where the laser was coming from. One terrorist was hit in the upper body and two in their shoulders. There were no injuries to soldiers.

The wounded terrorists were transported to a Ramallah hospital.
