Two horses in the Shomron community of Tapuach were stolen last Shabbos, 14 Elul. The thieves reportedly came from the nearby Arab village of Yasuf.
According to the report, a short time after discovering the theft a number of residents of Tapuach went to Yasuf and set up a stone checkpoint and began questioning residents regarding the stolen horses.
Walla News reports that according to the Arab villagers, the Tapuach residents manned the checkpoint for two hours and then IDF soldiers replaced them for a period of three hours. It does not appear that the horses have been recovered.
