Can you explain why this is news??
Yes, to WARN OTHER OF THE EXTREME DANGERS OF THIS HEATWAVE.
And your a medic?
Ya ok.
Ferd.
Probably that guy was wearing a dark jacket & a black felt hat:- All conducive for disaster in sweltering heat.
#3 147 – your comment is ridiculous. In a city of over 50,000 black hats one person faints and you cry out “the sky is falling”.
The main cause of heat stroke is dehydration and being in the sun too long. The same thing can happen to someone wearing a kippa sruga, rolled up sleeves, and a shirt with the top two or three buttons unbuttoned.
This man probably just happened to be in the sun too long, did not drink often enough, and didn’t realize how badly he was being affected by the heat.
Does anybody know the name so we can daven for him?
