There are 2 proplems with this article:
#1 is just an informational error. The “Jerusalem-Modi’in Highway” is called 443, not 433 as stated.
Secondly, if this is indeed where the incident took place, the statement saying “There is a continuing increase in Arab attacks against Israeli motorists traveling in areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron, including gunfire, firebombs and rocks.” is quite misleading. The 443 highway between Yerushalayim and Moddiin – which is also the main route to “Kiryat Sefer” [a.k.a. Modiin Illit] is NOT the place where an increasing number of Arab attacks takes place.
This highway is B”H as safe as any other highway in Israel, and it is actually quite rare that such incidents take place there.
The areas “inside Yehuda and Shomron” which do have increasing attacks are the areas of the palestinian ocupation (or near the Jewish settlement which are sparsley scattered among those arab settlements).
In the past misleading information of this type has brought about unnecesary mental anguish and fear concerning travel on Highway 443, and sometimes even can be the cause of monitary damage due the unbased depreciation of the value of homes in areas like Kiryat Sefer and the surrounding settlements.
Due caution is advised to YWN to subsantiate news items such as this before publication.
you mean 443

I disagree… the checkpoint has a history of terror.
