A rocket was launched into southern Israel from Gaza on Tuesday night close to 10:00PM.

Sirens sounded in the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council. B’chasdei Hashem there was no loss of life or injuries. It appears the rocket impacted in an open area. The IAF retaliated during the night.

Rocket fire into southern Israel has been increasing over recent weeks. Leaders of Gaza border communities are calling on the prime minister and defense minister to do whatever necessary to prevent another escalation in attacks against residents of the area.
