A Yeshiva Bachur riding a bike was seriously injured THursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle, TLS is reporting.

The Bachur, approximately 14 years old, was riding his bike on West Kennedy Boulevard‎ around Noon when he was struck, and thrown across the road, officials say.

Hatzolah responded to the scene and found the teen unconscious, officials say.

He was wearing a helmet at the time, but the helmet shattered from the impact.

The patient is being transported by Hatzolah Paramedics to Jersey Shore Medical University Center with serious injuries.

The Traffic Safety division is investigating the incident.
