With Israel observing Holocaust Remembrance Day this week, Yahadut Hatorah MK Menachem Eliezer Moses spoke with the Knesset Channel, explaining the great loss his family suffered by the Nazis YS”VZ as well as his “sweet revenge”.
Moses explains that 70 persons from his family were taken to Auschwitz, where they were murdered, burned, killed Al Kiddush Hashem. He explains that his father after the war stated he was the only survivor and with his Emunah in HKBH he was able to bring back a bit more than 70 persons as his revenge to the Nazis YS”VZ.
Moses stresses this was accomplished with the strong emunah in Hashem, and B”H the family continues in the proper derech of Avodas Hashem and this “is the true sweet revenge we have today”.

Frum people observe Holocaust Remembrance Day on Tisha B’Av.
actually it is an abomination that there is no special day of fasting for the holocaust
in the past, we had sivan 20 to comemerate the pogroms of 1648-49 in poland for many years
this day was a special day that frum people all held by, not tisha bav.

Begin was asked by the Moetzes AY of America to cancel the Holocaust Remembrance Day{since the Holocaust should be perceived as another horrific chapter in our long continuing exile] and he agreed .
Upon returning,however, he found little support for the proposal , so he decided to drop it.
