Yachad party leader MK Eli Yishai has turned to the Central Election Committee demanding a probe into what he believes was election fraud.
Attorney Itamar Ben-Givir, who represents the party, sent a letter Committee Chairman Justice Salim Jubran, stating that several complaints were filed with the committee on Election Day, pictures that painted an “alarming situation” citing harassment and a “systematic organized effort” to undermine the results of the 20th Knesset elections.
Ben-Givir lists the urgent appeals made to the committee while elections were ongoing, explaining in Bnei Brak dozens of poll watchers for the party were prevented from entering voting stations. He reminds Jubran that they demanded immediate attention but the intervention of the committee official did not resolve the problem.
Ben-Givir concludes that an investigation is warranted towards determining what really occurred concluding “This is not just a letter from the Yachad party but in the name of Israeli democracy”.
Yachad is short 11,711 votes to enter Knesset with four seats.

It is a hopeless situation. They won’t be able to add votes to their tally even if their was provable fraud. It’s water under the bridge. There’s nothing that can be done to change the outcome so that they get into the Knesset.
Just like in Lakewood NJ USA, recent fire elections feb 12, ’15 . Absentee baloots for an election that took place on Shabbos where not counted.
That may be, Bogen, but I would be furious if my vote “disappeared.” I filled out the form – very easy to do.
My Buba didn’t answer her door today but when I ask her about this I have no doubt she will shed a tear or two
Hey how come the secular candidate in the recent bet shemesh mayoral elections was able to call for a whole new election b/c of minimal fraud allegations, but Yishai cannot do the same thing? supreme court has to be even handed
BABAKAMA
The reason is because the elections Judge Salim Jubran is an Arab who doesn’t like Baruch Marzel. He would do anything to assist in keeping Marzel out.
Its a lost case
