A nonprofit that works for the advancement of senior citizens in Israel has announced it will be supporting Eli Yishai and his Yachad party based on his party performance as a Member of Knesset and cabinet minister. The organization represents about 20,000 senior citizens in Israel.

Rotah Danino, who heads the organization and was involved in founding the senior citizens party in Knesset explained they trust Yishai based on his record over the year. “He always concerned himself with us and legislated law pertaining to pensions and to permit senior citizens to live in honor and dignity” stated Danino.

Yishai welcomed the announcement of support stating the Knesset must take care of the nation’s elderly to make certain they can live with dignity.
