Bnei Brak police received a call telling of the apprehension of a shoplifter at the Yesh Chessed supermarket at 10 Kahaneman Street in the city. A search of the perpetrator revealed he was carrying a knife, pepper spray and stolen merchandise.

While dealing with the chareidi thief police realized something was not correct with his accented Hebrew. A deeper probe revealed that the ‘chareidi’ is a PA (Palestinian Authority) resident inside Green Line Israel illegally. He was turned over to the appropriate agency.
