One mother who called the emergency medical service did not get to the hospital in time due to the snow storm and the Magen David Adom team delivered the baby. B’chasdei Hashem the mother and child are fine.

MDA dispatch center received the call on Thursday night 30 Shevat at 23:51 for a woman in labor on Rav Shlomo Zalman Druk Street in the Ramot neighborhood of the capital. The paramedic unit was transporting the young mother-to-be but got delayed on Chaim Bar-Lev Street due to the snow. Paramedic Aluma Simon and her partner delivered the baby in the ambulance. The new baby was the mom’s second. The child was transported to Bikur Cholim Hospital in good condition.
