Maariv reports that if the Arab parties unite, which now appears likely, Shas will not succeed in passing the minimum threshold and will not be in the 20th Knesset. The Ha’Am Itanu party headed by Eli Yishai receives four seats and Yisrael Beitenu is knocked down from 13 seats in the outgoing Knesset to 6 seats.
According to the poll, the “Zionist camp” headed by Labor leader Yitzchak Herzog receives 23 votes and Likud headed by Binyamin Netanyahu receives 23 votes. Bayit Yehudi receives 18 seats and the combined Arab alignment increases from a total of 11 seats among the three parties in today’s Knesset to 13.
Yesh Atid headed by Yair Lapid received 11 seats, down from 19, and Yahadut Hatorah remains at 7. The Kulanu party headed by Moshe Kahlon receives 7 seats. Meretz remains the same with 6.
The Panels poll was commissioned by Maariv-Sof Shavua (Weekend) Magazine.

wow 13 members of the knesset hoping for the downfall of the country (ARAB members), I guess this is what all those lying in Mt. herzl died for.
1. Israeli polls are very unreliable especially as pertain to Sefardim and Hareidim, and Shas is both. The margin of error of the techniques used, which is tolerable for the US system, means that a small party might have a tremendous victory (8 seats), or none at all (3.9 seats which is equal to zero), meaning the poll is worthless for small parties.
2. The new threshold makes them more unreliable than before.
3. If the Hareidi parties lose support, it will be perceived by the hilonim as proof that most hareidim don’t support their rabbanim, particularly pertaining to conscription, and this will invite more anti-hareidi legislation.
all they would have to do is outlaw the Arab parties as anti-Zionists like they did to Meir Kahane. But there it was different, he was a frum Jew.

Charedim are very hesitate to vote for their parties who plan to align with Herzog & Livni. Gafni & Deri should merge as a new party “Charedim for Peace” & Agudah & Yishai should merge for ” Charedim for israel ha shelayma”
