Regavim, the research based legal think tank has announced its intention to release a report presenting tens of cases in which the European Union have actively changed the facts on the ground in Area C to unilaterally harm Israel in final status talks with the Palestinians.
In addition, following reports that the European Union has begun a new wave of diplomatic pressure against the Jewish State. The organization sent an official letter outlining some of their findings to the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister today, with a call to stand strong against EU pressure.
Commenting on the upcoming report, Ari Briggs, International Director of Regavim stated: “Once upon a time, the EU would pressure Israel by funding hostile NGOs, now it has cut out the middle man and is actively engaging in settlement activity on behalf of the Palestinians. In the coming weeks we will present evidence of over 90 structures that have been built by the EU in contradiction with the Oslo accords and all international agreements. We have highlighted this to our government and call upon the EU to stop this blatant violation of Israeli sovereignty immediately.”
Regavim, a research think-tank and advocacy organization, is dedicated to ensuring responsible, legal and accountable use of Israel’s national land. By investigating building claims on the ground level, Regavim protects national land interests. It presents its findings in the form of white papers and legal action as well as in briefings to the press and diplomatic corps.

There is no violation of Israeli sovereignty because there is no Israeli sovereignty. Area C is not part of Medinat Yisrael.
