Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) Tuesday filed legislation blocking the Obama administration’s funding of the joint Palestinian Authority-HAMAS interim government.
The “Stop Funding Terrorism Act” blocks “any direct United States assistance, loan guarantee, or debt relief to the Palestinian Authority, or any affiliated governing entity or leadership organization.” It is the House companion to Senator Rand Paul’s (R-KY) “Stand With Israel Act.”
The Obama administration announced June 2 that Obama would recognize and finance the Palestinian government, which was jointly organized with HAMAS terrorists. That announcement violates a federal law prohibiting any support to HAMAS.
“Barack Obama broke the law to funnel $440 million a year to terrorists committed to killing Jews. If federal law isn’t clear enough to President Obama, perhaps we need to be more direct,” said Stockman. “The ‘Stop Funding Terrorism Act’ removes any loopholes Obama is using to give U.S. taxpayer dollars to terrorist groups.”

“[We’re] deeply disappointed,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tells Time magazine. “Hamas is a terrorist organization that calls for Israel’s destruction, and the international community must not embrace it. That would not bolster peace. It would strengthen terror.”

Obama y”sh is a supporter of terror. The first gesture in the recent Gaza war was to offer $47 million to Hamas. Every effort at “peace” was predicated on concessions from Israel, while there was a backdoor to fund Hamas. Obama then denied a shipment of arms to Israel that already belonged to her, while she was at war. He has spoken about how Islam is a “moderate religion” when it is nothing but a savage, bloodthirsty ideology. He has refused to address the ISIS growth until it became too late. He now wants to partner with Iran to challenge ISIS.
Obama is nothing more than the terrorists he supports. He wears a suit, and lives in the White House. Hooray for him. He has not shown a blink of morality better than the scum he supports. He has deserved impeachment for years.
He will go down in history as the first black president. There will not be anything more that can be said of him because he has accomplished nothing. Oh, the national debt! Oh, the disaster called Obamacare! Oh, the open border through which all illegal aliens will get full support, food stamps, medical coverage, and handouts, while Americans continue to starve and struggle! Oh, the companies that relocated to outside the US to avoid the ridiculous taxes and oppressive regulations! Oh, the crime that gets relabeled as civil rights issues and occupies the federal government just because of colors! Oh, the speeches he gives that say so little but take so long! Oh, the record of lies that should earn an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records!
This clown needs to retire early, and yesterday is not soon enough.
All the bills in Congress won’t stop him. He needs to be taken to court.
Rep. Stockman, does the current holder of the office of president of the United States acknowledge that Hamas is a terrorist organization altogether? ? I suggest not and that may the crux of the disagreement. He views them as a peace loving people who has been oppressed by Israel. While he did publicly acknowledge that they started the war and that Israel had the right to defend itself his tongue was clearly in his cheek when those declarations we made.
I agree with the sentiment of the legislation as a policy matter but there is nothing “illegal” about the funding under current law according to the GAO and others who have considered the matter. Stockman is considered the biggest clown in Congress by just about everyone and he will be gone after the current session. YWN’s high editorial standards should not repeat such an absurd comment as to describe the funding as “illegal”. Perhaps, “unwise” “inappropriate” etc. but its not inconsistent with existing law.
Our President is a Terrorist- what else could be expected of him. Osama – Obama sharing the oval office!!
To #3 – I live in the Baltimore frum community, and I can tell you that Obama is not a hero for me or a lot of other frum people here. Please don’t say such generalizations about an entire frum community. Thank you.
