The many stranded Israelis in Turkey are expected to be home before Shabbos. El Al and Arkia on Thursday night sent flights to Turkey and additional flights will be shuttling the passengers home on erev Shabbos.
Delays at Ben-Gurion Airport are still reported on Friday as not all foreign carriers have decided to renew service to and from Tel Aviv.
