  1. Maybe the time has come to take back Gaza and stop with all “goodwill gestures” until some reciprocity is shown.

  2. In Bet Shemesh. Conflicting reports of whether it was a false alarm or not & no one I have been in contact with has definitive information yay or nay. Life WILL go on, BEH safely. May G-d protect our citizens & the brave IDF.

  3. Isn’t it great that we have a prime minister who knows how to stop the rocket fire wasn’t that what he was boasting about last week

  4. ATTN Mod: from the Jerusalem Post: Air raid sirens were heard on Monday in the outskirts of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, but an Israeli police spokesman said they were false alarms.

  5. #7 Even something small like learning two halachos of shmiras halashon would be good. Had writers done so, they’d have learned in “today’s” halachah “If we judge our fellow man favorably, then in Heaven we are judged favorably.”

  6. I’ve urged my daughter in Ashdod to organize the people in her building to say Tehillim Mechulak. One Shabbos I spent in Ashdod a few years ago sirens went off around 4am and we had to go into the buildings stairwell, supposed to be the most protected place. My son-in-law reported that some Arab leader in Gaza allegedly said, “Our missiles are very accurate — your G-d is very powerful.”
During the first Gulf War in 91 when there were 39 sirens over a 6 week period, many of them landing in heavily populated areas with tens of thousands of housing units destroyed or damaged, only one person was killed by a missile (the person who was leading to fight to legalize pork) and the mortality rate in the country went down, since the missiles miraculously didn’t kill anyone (with that one exception) but did scare people into staying home and not going out and killing each other with their cars (the largest component of the mortality rate). There was enormous arousal to teshuva and shuls were packed with people finishing Sefer Tehillim every day. This was . arguably the only war in human history which saved lives, and notably the only war in Israeli history in which the army did practically nothing.

  7. Still waiting for condemnation by the Agudah & Young Israel. Or are they still busy on their apology tour for the murdered Arab?!

  8. Thank you you damn, warped and demented “Jews” for killing this Arab teen! Are YOU HAPPY that your desecrated our Father’s NAME and caused more terror to happen in Israel???!!! Did you forget that we are in EXILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Reb Yosef,

Do you honestly believe that Hamas would have not started their assault if the Arab kid wouldn’t have been murdered? They are Amalek. They know they are about to lose, so they are happy to die losing, and will make up any excuse – real or imaginary – to do so.
