A “Youth Against Settlements” photo that went viral showed an IDF soldier pointing his automatic weapon at an unarmed Arab youth. A Facebook page was started to express support for the soldier, one of many who was sucker punched by leftists who encourage Arab youths to taunt soldiers until they are videoed crossing a line they should not cross. The page on Thursday morning 2 Rosh Chodesh Iyar already had over 94,000 likes as soldiers are coming out of the woodwork to express support for their colleague. The message sent to the IDF is “we are fed up as soldiers are hung out to dry serving in Yehuda and Shomron”. The soldier, David Nachlawi, was operating in Hebron earlier this week when the photo of him was taken.
The growing momentum against the radical left-wing and in support of the soldiers has compelled the IDF spokesman to release a statement reiterating soldiers serving in Yehuda and Shomron are given 100% backing and are not hung out to dry as is alleged.
Despite the spokesman’s statement the moment is continuing clearly showing soldiers and citizens alike are indeed fed up with the left-wing which views soldiers defending Israel as the enemy.
In another case reported by YWN-ISRAEL “Youth Against Settlements” captured another soldier on video, once again portraying him as a persecutor of innocent Palestinians.
IDF soldier Moshe Ochana released a video a number of days ago expressing his unwavering support for fellow soldier Avraham Shapira
Rabbi Dov Wolpe of The Movement to Save the People and the Land announced an 1,800 shekel cash prize will be awarded to soldier David Admov, who chambered a bullet and pointed it at an Arab endangering his life. He will also be given a Hero of Israel award certificate for his actions, his bravery and willingness to defend Eretz Yisrael.
