One of the most well-known activists who works to rescue detainees from the courts by means of various legal means is Rabbi Shimon Shisha, who is a member of the Eida Charedis. He also assists detainees from the Peleg, many of whom were arrested during protests held in recent weeks.
Shisha is considered to be familiar with the legal and military system and is active in this field and often serves as the attorney for the detainees before the enforcement authorities.
On Monday night, a number of yeshiva students were arrested at the induction center on Rashi Street. One of the demonstrators feared that there was an arrest of one for failing to report for service, one of whom was arrested without shoes.
Shisha arrived to address the situation and did indeed see one Yeshiva Bochur that was arrested without shoes. Without hesitation, he took off his own shoes and gave them to the detainee and he returned home without them.

Who’s that guy in the photo sleeping on the job?
It seems like these guys are fighting for a lost cause.
Why are they not getting tired of protesting ?
Very nice of you ywn to write something nice about the eida after your negative article about the eida being anti idf a few days ago. Your EXACTLY like hapeles they put down all the gedolim who are not on their side and the next day you see an articel with the words harav hagaon reb aharon leib shteinman , maran hagaon reb ahron leib shteiman maran reb aharon leib stheinman to show their machsiv the other side also balogne,
I’m still not sure why anyone would choose a side here. If there seems to be a machlokes between gedolim then let them handle it, they don’t need out dayos and help. I would urge everyone to look at Orchos Chaim L’haRosh 65.
