There is widespread condemnation of Israel Police’s conduct during the Yerushalayim rally demanding the release of the grandson of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe Shlita, who was arrested two weeks ago at the airport when entering the country for not reporting for IDF registration.
Police on the other hand insist rocks and bricks were hurled at them and at times, they were under life-threatening danger. Video footage from the scene is being reviewed by Justice Minister Police Investigations Unit personnel amid many allegations of brutality by police as well as disturbing video footage in which police are seen clearly abusing their authority and using unjustifiable force against civilians.
Protestors add that police simply selected people indiscriminately and beat them, not to mention the indiscriminate use of the water cannon, which contains a dye that ruins the clothing of one hit by the water.
Police made several arrests and a number of officers were injured as were three protestors; one with a fracture and a second with internal cranial bleeding.

Theres no need for an investigation. It was obvious that the police lives were in danger. If you don’t listen to s cop , expect to be tased or beat’n.
The fact that the cops restrained themselves all these years means alot on their part.
Tango, so you think these same noble public servants were being abused by these terrible, retrograde Chareidim “all these years.” So, finally, these upright officers of the law, who are sworn “to serve and to protect” just couldn’t take it anymore. And their righteous anger overflowed this time. They should be given medals for their “restraint” “all these years.”
Guess what? The police commander at this hafgana has a record of violence toward civilians and suspects. So, the commissioner of the Israeli police is taking this very seriously and has ordered a full-scale investigation. If he would have checked with you first, he could have saved lots of time and money, right?
Instead of being an armchair quarterback, you ought to be asking yourself why you derive such pleasure from seeing frum Jews beaten up.
my dear brothers and friends please could we all just step back a minute, yes true the way the protesters conduct themselves is wrong in fact very wrong but let’s call a spade a spade the police acted with brutality that is uncalled for, the protesters were unarmed their lives were not in danger yet they act this way because they take great pleasure in doing so unfortunately many of these policemen hate the chareidim so much that they this as a great chance to act on that hatred. their job is to restore law and order not to shove a man like that on the sidewalk, they can arrest but why the beating while they do so, yes, you can see the hatred in their eyes, remember you are watching your fellow yidden being beaten, whether you believe what they are doing is right or wrong, people keep saying how could police act this way, how could the beat a fellow jew? well first of all plenty of these policemen are not halachically speaking yidden altogether, so yes there is plenty eisav soney es yakov, plus the rest of them that live without an ounce of torah in their lives are capable of doing anything.
but what I find the most disturbing of all is that there seems to be plenty of YWN readers who also seem to take pleasure in seeing there fellow Jews being beaten, perhaps it is time to question how much of our lives are influenced by Torah and how much by the outside world
The police, as they often do to justify themselves, claim that they were attacked. We have many videos of the police assaulting unarmed and peaceful protesters. We do not have a single video or photo of anyone assaulting a policeman. The police always bring their own photographers to record what happens. If there were so much as a spitball thrown at them, there would be a dozen photos of the event and feature film documenting it. So far there is nothing. This was in fact a police riot and shows how deep their hatred is for Torah Jews.
