Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita in his motzei Shabbos shiur addressed the horrific terror attack in N’vei Tzuf on Friday night, the slaughter that took place during a Shalom Zachor. The rav stated that any Arab who comes to murder should be killed and not left injured, as was the case in this attack. “Unfortunately, the terrorist was not killed. This terrorist should have been killed” stated the rav.
As he continued the shiur, Rav Yosef stated any terrorist who comes to kill, it is prohibited that he remains alive. “We know that he came to harm Jews and we must kill him”.

Sad thing was the soldier was afraid of spraying bullets into the house – didn’t want to mistakenly hit a victim. Azaria trial probably had him afraid to take the guy out completely. Welcome to Israel – the beacon of mistaken morals.
That is exactly why Elor Azariah is a hero, and must be off the hook immediately. The Chief Rabbi should use all the weight of his office, to bring pressure to get Elor Azariah acquitted &/or pardoned immediately.
Someone should tell the Rav to have the Shas MKs introduce legislation in Knesset to amend the criminal code so a policeman can administer summary judgement to a captured terrorist. Under existing law, a policeman would be sent to jail under the Rav’s admonition. Its bad enough we have to deal with these terrorist animals….we don’t need Israeli policeman descending to their low level unless its been directed by law.
No don’t kill him, I heard someone say we should not provoke the Arabs….!
