The UNESCO decision denying a Jewish connection to the Ma’aras HaMachpelah led Hebron residents on Sunday night the eve of 16 Tammuz to enter apartments which were purchased by the Jewish community. As they headed to Beit HaMachpelah security forces were there to prevent this from occurring. The Beit Machpelah was purchased by the Jewish community several years ago but the governments since the purchase have prohibited them from moving in.
The residents of Hebron call on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, sending the message that if he really wants to show UNESCO who owns Hebron, to permit them to enter the building as well as other buildings that have been purchased by the community in recent years.

UNESCO and Bibi agree that Hebron does not belong to Jews.
Why blame UNESCO when it is the Israeli Government that denies Jews the right to live in Hebron?
Netanyahu is all talk, no action.
Sy G: unfortunately you are wrong. Bibi is certainly all talk but he is also all action. Who has ultimate responsibility for acting to prevent Hebron residents from entering apartments owned by the Jewish community in Hebron? The Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Unlike in America, the President in Israel is a mere figurehead whose job is to make life easy for disgraced criminal politicians.
