A transformer exploded under a car in Flatbush, setting the vehicle on fire.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning on Avenue N near East 17 Street.

The FDNY responded, and extinguished the blaze.

It was unknown if the incident caused any power outages in the immediate vicinity.
