A Jewish voter endured a frightening incident as he left the polling station in Stamford Hill, London on Thursday evening.
Shomrim reports the man shouted “kill all the Jews, what are you doing here?” as the man was leaving the building. The suspect returned to the scene a short while later, this time weilding a crow bar and continued shouting more abuse.
Met Police arrested the suspect “on suspicion of a racially/religiously aggravated public order offence,” adding he was being questioned by Police at an east London police station.
Chaim Hochhauser, from Stamford Hill Shomrim said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim. I would like to thank the woman at the polling station who came to the aid of the victim and helped him leave the premises to find a safe place. Shomrim are supporting the victim and assisting with the Police investigation.”
